I'm in the process of ripping all of my CD's to FLAC files and I was wondering what software I should use to get bit-perfect copies. I was using Easy CD-Extractor for a number of years, but after doing some testing, it seems like the error correction is uses isn't reliable. Some of the tracks it ripped had clicks - even with all of the error correction options turned on.
Next, I tried Exact Audio Copy; but it has a few problems dealing with Windows 7. I can get around the problems and get it to work; and so far, it has the best audio quality and error correction, but it's a pain to use.
Is there any other good CD ripping programs out there that can make bit-perfect rips? Does anyone have experience with dBpoweramp? Is it worth buying?
